Leadership Development Program

Client Overview

A prominent government organization based in Asia, comprising a dedicated team of engineers, designers, and product managers committed to developing technology for the betterment of the public.

Challenge

New managers struggled to cultivate effective relationships and synergy among team members, encountering accountability challenges within a fragmented team structure, thereby impeding collaboration and leadership development.

What I Did

Initiated a brief leadership development series with five workshops covering goal setting, leadership development, feedback, and influencing without authority. Paired managers with mentors and buddies for on-the-job application. Integrated the program into their existing LMS for collaborative learning and support.

Results

Within six months, new managers demonstrated enhanced problem-solving, improved cross-functional collaboration and improved relationships with team members. The organization became more adaptive and forward-thinking, solidifying its position as a dynamic player in the IT industry.

Challenge

Senior leadership faced collaboration issues due to diverse personalities, intensified by the pandemic's impact on relationship-building.

What I Did

Initiating with a personality discovery program, we facilitated meaningful connections and teamwork amongst team members. Subsequently, through  team culture assessments, training, and group coaching, teams solidified trust-building norms, conflict resolution strategies, and enhanced collaboration 

Results

After eight months, the team underwent a reassessment of team culture, revealing higher trust and successful mutual accountability with collaboration. Additionally, they reported increased engagement and higher satisfaction scores, showcasing positive developments in team dynamics and performance

As a DE&I Specialist, I work with organizations to create inclusive cultures where all employees feel valued and respected.

What I Did

Implemented a DEI program with specialized individual and group coaching for select groups of high-performing women. Launched mentorship initiative and integrated DEI principles into leadership development program.

Challenge

I use a variety of tools and techniques to assess organizational culture, identify areas for improvement, and develop a customized action plan.

What I Did

I conducted an organizational culture assessment for a non-profit organization. This included surveys of employees, analysis of cultural artifacts, and interviews with key stakeholders.

Results

The organization saw an improvement in employee engagement, retention, and productivity.
